When We Fall
What is it that matters most when we fall?
When We Fall is a collision between three people. Tracey is sneaking out late at night. David is keeping secrets. Nina is always imagining things. Combinations of desire, lies, fate, and recklessness lead three people to stumble. As they do, they are forced to contemplate how to live afterwards.
Developed from her own award-winning short-story, When We Fall is Tamara Searle's first work for stage, adapted in collaboration with director Xan Colman. Tamara's play explores the psychological, spiritual and physical manifestations of falling, and her script was put through an intensive physical and musical workshop collaboration to decipher and embody the presence in a continuing state of falling.
When We Fall was performed at the 2006 Short & Sweet Festival Melbourne, where A is for Atlas won the Best Independent Company award.
